All data was submitted online, and girth was measured as well as length. The smallest erection submitted was just under two inches long, while the longest was just over ten inches long. In addition, the study asked how the men obtained the erection. Researchers found that men who obtained an erection through oral sex reported a larger erection than those who used self-stimulation. There was also no correlation between race or sexual preference regarding erection size.
